Brady Cook threw for 275 yards, with one touchdown and one interception on 18-of-24 passing (75.0%) for the Tigers in that matchup against the Volunteers. He also added 12 carries for 55 yards and one rushing touchdown. Cody Schrader carried the ball 35 times for 205 yards (5.9 yards per carry) with one touchdown on the ground. He added five receptions for 116 yards. Marquis Johnson had 56 yards on two catches (28.0 per reception) in that game. Graham Mertz’s showing for the Gators against the Tigers included 26-of-38 passing for 311 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. He rushed seven times for 7 yards and one touchdown. In that matchup, Trevor Etienne had an 18-carry, 99-yard game (5.5 yards per attempt) with three touchdowns. He also added one reception for five yards . Ricky Pearsall caught seven passes on eight targets for 103 yards (14.7 yards per reception).
