‘Little evidence’ voluntary targets spur reformulation: ‘The food and beverage industry has to step up’

Fresh research from the UK suggests that the ten largest food businesses operating in the country have made little progress to improve the nutritional quality of their products over a four-year period. The reportâs authors suggest more aggressive policy levers such as taxation should now be considered.
